Why do we base our beauty off what others think beauty is?

Why do we base our beauty off what others think beauty is? Beauty is so much more then what we can see. A person can be beautiful on the outside. Win awards for their beauty, get all the attention for their beauty but we as humans don’t understand the beauty that’s within ourselves that make us even more beautiful then any celebrity. God created us in his image. We can not see God. But because of his love, trust, honesty, and kindness of heart we know that he is a beautiful God. God did not create us to demolish a world, to destroy his creation. We were created to love each other and show others really how beautiful He is because He is.

A person is beautiful based on what? I know that everyone has beauty in some way or another. Don’t abuse the beauty you have on the outside and sacrifice the beauty on the inside for whatever reason your flesh desires. The bible talks about rare beauty. Those who have rare beauty are the most captivating to ones eye. Clothe yourself in the beauty that God has created. NOT of what man has created. For within you there is a rare beauty waiting to emerge.

1 Peter 3:4
You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

Autumn Changes

Though sometimes life can be deceiving God always saves us from it. Through my 21 years of life He has saved me from many things that could have drowned my spirit and love for Him. Sure, I had to go through some heartache and pain, sure I was angry, lonely and depressed but in the end when it’s all over and I look back at what COULD have happened I’m so thankful that He saved my heart and my soul from much more dramatic pain.

Autumn is a season of color and change. I believe that autumn is God’s artistry of life’s seasonal changes. Autumn has breathtaking reds, yellows, oranges, and browns. It’s when the old starts to die. Old leaves are falling to the ground and summer plants are dyeing. Autumn is truly a season preparing us for change. Spring is what gives us the new.

Through life lessons such as heart wrenching trials, God shapes and molds us into who we are meant to be. We need to take it as how God see’s it and not how we feel it. Hang in there. Don’t give up on yourself. There is so much more to life then what you can only see. God loves you more then you know.

~Joel 2:23~Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring.
