Well Marcus and I finally got married Aug. 20th! YAY! It has been a wonderful 2 months being married. At lease I think so... :) lol. We have already started thinking about where we will be going for our one year anniversary and so far its could be Colorado, Vegas or Hawaii! :) The only thing is Marcus HATES flying so we may be driving somewhere...
The last 2 months have been a growing time for Marcus and I as we grow to know each other more and more as husband and wife. I'm very excited to see where we will be in a year from now and even 5 years from now. Who knows what God has in store for us...
As far as kids go, we plan on not having kids for about 5 years... That's the PLAN! But if it ends up happening before then then what a wonderful blessing. I just hope we are prepared enough for it. I think Marcus is more excited about having kids then I am! lol
We hope to buy a house with in the next couple of years. We would like one with a fairly large yard for the dogs to run and play. And eventually our kids. First things first, moving into a cheaper apartment so that we can start saving more money! :)
We have been looking and filling out a few churches near by. So far nothing feels like home. It is hard to find a church when you work Sunday mornings... Very few churches have Saturday night services but we are determined to either try to get Sundays off or find a home church on Saturdays.
We are very excited to spend out first Christmas together as husband and wife! We have already started decorating the apartment. lol Marcus says he wants LOTS of presents under the Christmas tree. lol When I asked what he wanted for Christmas all he said was "PRESENTS!" lol So I figured I would buy him a few then buy the dogs a few... Why not.??? lol This would be our first year together having Christmas day off. Not sure what the plans are yet but I'm sure we will get them figured out.
